Welcome to the summer school on human-in-the-loop and learning with limited labels. The summer school took place in Denmark and was the fourteenth summer school jointly organized by DIKU, DTU, and AAU.
Topics
Artificial intelligence is often built on human experience and for interaction with humans. Learning from humans is both concerned with 1) reducing the amount of manual labor required for humans to teach artificial systems how to solve tasks and 2) making artificial systems understand and learn from human behavior. The former is traditionally called active learning, while the latter is sometimes called human-robot collaborations.
This summer school will give an introduction to artificial learning with humans in the loop, present state-of-the-art research of the field, and will include project work, where the participants make a small programming project relating their research with the topics of the summer school.
